| Extensive gardens and parkland surround Sandringham. | Back at Syd and Marian's house in Bury-St.-Edmunds. My feet were cold, so I wore a double layer of Syd's socks when in the house. Marian stored them here in between my comings. |

Day Three, Tostock

Lionel has extensive gardens at the edge of the village. We went with him to help gather vegetables. Bob will dig potatoes.

| Lionel's tool shed is an old WWII air raid shelter. People sunk these shelters into their back yards. | My first job was to pick pole beans. We really enoyed this bit of gardening. |

| After the gardens, we went to St. Andrew's church with Lionel to clean the bell loft. It's an ancient church building, right down to the key. | Look at the size of this key. |
