Mevagissey and Fowey, Cornwall, England
Mevagissey and Fowey are across a bay from each other. Mevagissey is a picturesque village, Fowey is a busy touristy town. Fowey is at the end of a peninsula with one access road, so traffic is a problem. To avoid it, you can take a water taxi from Mevagissey to Fowey, which is what we did.

Nikki's friend Sharon runs a water taxi that takes folks from their big boats to shore and back. You know Fowey is a resort town. There are sailboats in the harbor instead of fishing boats.
Sharon had time to take us on a little cruise of the harbor and river. We jumped on immediately! |
