| The Stithians Agricultural Show is a yearly event near the village of Stithians in Cornwall. Here Bob watches the judges look over some steers. | One big tent was dedicated to Cornish foods. Bob got there a bit too late for the roast pig sandwiches. But he did get some scraps to nibble. |

| A food man to the core, Bob's next stop was for a selection of exotic olives. | Cornwall is famous for its thick yellow clotted cream. You can get it at this wagon on strawberries or scones or all of the above. |

| Midmorning tea happens even if there is no place to sit! | These men were demonstrating the traditional way that farmers built their hedge walls with dirt and rough stones. These walls eventually get covered with greenery and are impenetrable. |

At the end of the day Bob and I sat and listened to a steam calliope while Nikki and Pauline did some last-minute shopping.

| More gardens! Both Nikki and I are gardeners, so really enjoyed the flora. | The less formal park-like gardens climb the hill behind the manor. What a view of the Bodmin farmlands and the manor below! |
