| Mt. St. Michael is connected to the Cornwall mainland by a causeway only at low tide. Bladderwrack seaweed and snails cover the sands here. | A picturesque old village clusters around the harbor at the foot of the mount. We hated to leave the causeway, but wanted to explore the village. |

| Stone steps, cobbled paths, and trails. It's still a challenge to storm the castle! | Almost there. |
