| Between Kluane Lake, Yukon, and Alaska, there were miles and miles and miles of road construction. The temporary gravel roads were incredibly dusty! | This is what we, and everyone else who came up the highway looked like when they got to Tok (Toke), Alaska. |

| Poor Moby needs a bath. The campground, RV Village, had an area with high pressure hoses for washing RVs. So for $12 and a lot of work, Moby and BlueVan got clean again - for a while. | Every night Floyd and Dave, in their holstein-spotted hats, gave free concerts at RV Village. They sang Alaskan folk music, recited Robert Service poems, and told jokes. It was a great show. |

You don't realize how huge the Alaska Pipeline is until you get up to it! Thousands of gallons of oil are sloshing their way to Valdez (Valdeez) just over Bob's head. We followed the pipeline to Valdez.
|
Valdez is across the arm of Prince William Sound from where Bob is fishing for salmon. We camped at Eagle's Nest Campground in Valdez for almost a week. |

| A couple of nice salmon for the larder. | We took an Alaska Heritage cruise of Prince William Sound while we were in Valdez. Here some Steller sea lions bask on a channel buoy. |

| The far beach is literally littered with sea lions, and a raft of them swam out to greet us.
We also saw sea otters, a humpback whale, Steller's dolphins, and seals. Puffins, murres, cormorants, and other seabirds were on cliffs, on the sea and in the air. |
They wanted us to play, but none of us could swim well enough. |

| Icebergs from the Columbia Glacier float far from the glacier in small bays of the sound. | Icebergs again. Seals rode along on a few of them. |

| We are coming in sight of the glacier. The world is blue, white, and cold. | Closer still. |
